Writing update:  Students began writing a biography this week and will publish by Friday. They are applying knowledge gained in reading class about the structure of biographies. They are using chronological narrative structure to tell the story of an important person's life.

Social Studies update:  This past week students have taken a break from U. S. History and the Westward Expansion of the U.S. in the 1800s, in order to focus on writing, but will return to Social Studies next week, onto the War of 1812.

Please use our ONLINE Social Studies TEXTBOOK to read ahead, more in depth, review or just for fun!! Your child now has access to this awesome resource via the link on the right.

  • Type into the windows, your child's username and password which is glued to the inside of their Social Studies INB, but they should also know it by heart.
