My name is Kinsey Friedrichs and I was born in a raised in a small farming community called Nada, Texas. After college and a short business career, I moved to Tomball and began my childhood dream of becoming a teacher.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from Texas State University in 2006 and my Master’s Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University in 2011.
This is my 10th year in education with Tomball ISD. I started at Rosehill Elementary School in 2008 and taught 3rd Grade Language Arts and Social Studies for five years. I was the librarian at Tomball Junior High for two years and opened Creekview Elementary in 2015. It's been a wonderful opportunity to build a library from the ground up and it is a joy to serve this community.
Education is my passion and the library is home. I enjoy learning new things especially with technology, reading and spending time with my family.
My husband, Scott, is a 2001 Tomball Graduate and currently works in the industrial construction industry. My daughter, Harper, is 6 years old and wants to be a scienceteacher when she grows up. Gunner, my son, is a curious and adventurous 3 year old little boy. We are a dog loving family and have two Jack Russell Terriers and one Yellow Lab.
