Welcome to Fourth Grade

Welcome Cougars,

I look forward to meeting you all and getting to build relationships throughout this year! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tim, for over 12 years. I am a mother to four beautiful children. Kason is a 7th grader at WWJH, Kayde is a 5th grader here at CES, Kyler is a 2nd grader here at CES, and Kinley is 2 years old.

I'm very excited about starting my 10th year in education. My career began after graduating from Baylor University with my BA in psychology. Having attended Tomball schools from kindergarten through graduation, there isn't anywhere I'd rather be. Go Cougars! I started in Tomball at Canyon Pointe Elementary the first year it opened as an Instructional Aide while finishing my teaching program. In that role, I enjoyed helping students as needed in their classrooms while supporting our Specialized Support Teacher. The next year I found my calling, 4th grade! I taught math/science there for 3 years. After 4 years at that campus, I was excited to begin a new chapter by helping open Timber Creek. I served in my role there for four years. While my kids were younger, I decided to take some time off, but my heart couldn't stay away. I'm so thankful to have found my spot at Creekview. I truly love working with kids in smaller groups and try to set up my activities in the classroom to allow me to do that. This helps me learn more about your child's learning styles as well as strengths and weaknesses in different areas.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! I enjoy building confidence in my students and showing them that it's okay to take risks in their learning. This year will be another memorable one for sure, and I'm ready to meet each and every one of you. See you soon!
